Site looks great and I like the Tutorial page.
As to having pages validated, most forums I belong to have the same "problem" with errors. It's a fact of life here on the Internet. Heck, just signing into my Google mail account takes a long time in FF because the page is being parsed has over 2000+ errors alone! If the developers of the forum software got their code that clean, you would probably have to pay for it.
Width is no problem for me even using larger then 800X600 res. All together, very good forum.
