copyright laws

I received a email from a competitor who claims I have copied from her site.
However I've done a comparison and noticed no copyright violations. The first time she emailed me I used cute golf terms to describe to describe my services ie 9th hole or eagle. She claimed she had ownership over those terms. I removed those terms but she sent me the following email. If someone could direct me to a website regarding copyright laws.

This is the second time I have found my copy
on your site, this time specifically the golf page.
Site copy is covered under copyright laws.
Kindly cease & desist from using other people's copy
on your site.

If you have difficulty writing your own copy,
you can ask & pay for someone to write your copy.

Is that copy on other site? Is it pretty generic? When you put a website up, it can be considered copyrighted.

If you do not know exactly what she is claiming you have done, ask her. It just sounds like she is trying to bully you.
