I work for a manufacturing company and I am currently working on implementing a page for our Distributors... password protected for use only by our trusted distributors.

One tool that I want to incorporate into this page would be a form that would allow our distributors to email specified pdf's as attachments to their (multiple) customers.

----<Form Requirements>---
So, ideally this would be a form with the basics... From, Subject, Message...
with the ability for them to include selected PDF attachments AND most importantly the capability for THEM to specify multiple (preferably comma delimited) email addresses into the To field.
----</Form Requirements>---

I am looking for direction as to how I might be able to create this vision. I have read about JMail, but I don't know the extent of it's capabilities. Any information on how I can create an email form with the specified functions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I have created a web page on our local server to allow users to open excel files for viewing reports. I have done this by displaying a link to each of the reports created for the last 7 days. so currently I have to update the HTML each day to add the current date and remove the oldest date.

I would like to instead have a dropdown box that automatically list partial contents of the local directory based on evaluating certain filters, so the users can then select the file(report) of their own choosing.
i figured it out, the first image name has back-slashes instead of forward-slashes. that fixed it!
can't figure out how to delete this, but if a moderator wants to that's fine with me.

I can't read your mind as to the layout you want. You have to at least try coding something and then post the code it you are having problems. We are here to help, not do all the coding.

The site is a little set now but how can I create a database such that password and username of name of applicants will be validated automatically anytime they log in. Also how to make the browser display automatically the login info of the user because the courses will have timer that will show number of days left to complete the course.

Nice, but I recommend using an external CSS file and doing all styling that way. Second best is to use embedded CSS. Any tag can pretty much be styled. You could have made a nice Submit button with an image and used it.

Still, nicely done and thank you for posting the information for others to see although it would have been better posted with your original post.

To convert an Adobe® Portable Document Format(PDF) file to HTML or text, simply type a URL for an Adobe PDF document into this electronic form and select Convert. The Adobe PDF document will be converted and returned to you in your browser application. Depending on the complexity of the document and the number of requests being made on the server at the time, the conversion process may take a while.

There are a few ways to do a Contact Form. One is using a client-side email form which opens the client's email program after they click Submit button. It is dependent on them clicking the Send button after that since it opens the default email program.

The other is to use a server-side script which makes it totally independent of the client's programs and all action is done by the script processing file on the server.

The server-side can redirect to a Thank You page, send you the email or send multiple people the same email information and even send the client a copy. Lots of things can be set up for a server-side script. Even a Print button, hidden fields, etc..

The following might help with more guidance...
