I found the site http://www.tucktail.com/ for getting the domain name at $1.99.it provides the free hosting service also.It's useful for me.

Hey all. Just want to let you all know, I used Godaddy for my domain name registration the past year, and renewed it in July. I like it. It's only $2.99 a year (I think) and I've had no problems. I have no idea what their other services are like because I don't use them. I know they offer a lot of others which is probably how they make their money since a $3 domain name registration probably doesn't make them much.

Thanks for the warning. DirectI is usually a good (registrar) and that is who I use for registration.

Thanks for the advice! I will most definitley not use them.
I heard that network solutions is the official place to get them from.
Is that true?

Sub-domains are managed via the DNS hosting and web hosting provider, not the registrar.
