I am trying to write a script that creates an online email directory. The script references a csv file for the data. For some reason the email address is not making it into the string variable, could that be because it has an @ symbol and thus it is seen as an array that is undefined?

Please advise me on how to get the script to interpret the email address as a string.

Thanks,

LH

That's not enough information. Please post the section of the code that performs the csv parsing, a sample csv file and the result that you get when running your script on the sample file.
