| Spam can mean something posted numerous times on a forum, or a e-mail advertisment sometimes that someone sends to everyone they can. |

If you want to know what forum spam is, it's anything with no relation to the topic at hand, but if you're thinking of email spam, it's an unsolicited, commercial message, which is an email advertisement from someone you did not request to hear from. For example, if I sent you an email pushing an affiliate product, and you did not opt into my mailing list, that would be a spam email.
Emails from an Ad exchange or safelist, cannot be considered spam because when you create an account with the ad exchange, you agree to receive email advertisements sent from the ad exchange on behalf of it's members know as "solo ads". |
