It depends on how your page is coded. On your index.php page there should be something like
Code:
<?php if(have_posts()) : ?><?php while(have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>
<div class="post" id="post-<?php the_ID(); ?>">
<div class="entry">
<?php the_content(); ?>


You'll need to copy that code and post it here for us to tell you how to do it.
