Internet Explorer 7 not displaying images in tables correctl

Hi. I've given up on using a CSS menu system for a site I'm working on, it's table based and in all the browsers I have tested it on IE7 is having problems displaying. Not sure if IE 6 works-

At the top left of the screen the logo appears to be divided by a few pixels. I have no idea why. I'm not sure what I changed other than when trying to use a new menu system which displayed incorrectly. Confused

Something simple probably though I am unsure what is throwing it out. I haven't tried using IE quirks mode though I'd prefer not to.

It's throughout the site as part of the main template. Any help or pointers would be great.

You are already putting IE and other browsers in Quirks Mode by using an incomplete DocType. The URI part is missing.

I think if you correct the DocType and all the following code errors, you may solve your problems:

CSS (minor)
HTML (major errors)
