I go quite regularly to another forum, and the siggy limits are rather small, character-wise. Plus, mine was appearing weird - the forum is in alpha stages and can be kind of wonky.
I asked a moderator there if I could simply make an iframe that displayed in my signature and they said I could. However, the iframe tag is apparently disabled. The mod suggested this "Have you tried coding it elsewhere and using one of those script linking sites to host it and reroute it?"
I'm not sure what exactly this would involve. I asked in this forum, since I'm trying to get an i-frame to work, but I'm not sure this is the correct place.
I DO know that people make image maps that work... so there is a way to do *something*.... I'm just not sure how to go about it.
If someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great. Thanks! |

Well if the iframe is disabled on the forum, there is nothing that you can do about it. Hosting the code somewhere else - just won't work - since the iframe code is disabled. The reason it is disabled is mainly for security purposes. The owners of the forums want to maintain some control and if they allow a user to use an iframe, then that control is gone. The user could put malicious coding in that frame and the owners would be responible |
