That is on the window itself, and you cannot control it. You can put it in a pop-up without the tool bar but all your attempts are in vain. Whatever you do there will always be a way around it to get your images.

I've try using AEVITA Encrypt & Password, and it works on IE. IE can't take my images and copy/save my image's folder. But when I'm try to take the images using Mozilla Firefox, (still same using : save as... Type : web page completes), the encrypt can not block the firefox browser.
Well, as you said there will always be a way around to get my images. But it still not enough for me. Could youthink of something else, like how to blocking the firefox's broweser taking my images, please help..hehehe.. Thx a lot, Corey... |

Sorry I have been away - but the more time you spend on this is unfortunately just wasted time. No matter what, there will always be a way around it, etc

Look just because it will always be possible to get past applied protectiosn doesn't mean it isn't worth applying them in the first place. I've read hundreds of posts across hundreds of websites. Each one begins with someone asking a question like this. And generally the first 5 or 6 replies will be others blasting the person for even suggesting it, and always suggesting ways to beat the protection. Just because it can be beaten doesn't mean it shouldn't be used. Some of the old Favorite ways to defeat protections:
1) The Temp Internet files or Cache. And as most of you know, there is a way to close this loophole.
2) Screen Capture. As distasteful as it might seem, there is even a way to beat that old tried and true.
3) Disable Javascript. And I'll just set my alternate, non-Java page to hold text and not materials worthy of theft. So either turn your Java back on (like 99.9% of all browsers out there) and deal with the fact that you can't steal what you want.
The internet is a wonderful tool for a lot of people, and it should be a free resource where information from one person can inspire another. But so long as there are people out there who want to use that creativity and not properly credit those due, website security must be something we take seriously. |

@fallen_dawn:
The best Web Site security is NOT to put anything online that you don't want anyone to steal. As Corey said, there is ALWAYS a way around it. You listed 3 items, but didn't give what you consider secure methods. Just general statements and not how you would do each one for the benefit of the Original Poster, who asked, "How to Disable save web complete?".
With current tools available, pretty much everything on a site can be obtained. Copyright laws or not, there will always be people who "borrowed" stuff they like to use on their own sites. Doesn't matter if they give you credit or not. If you didn't give permission, it's copyright infringement.
All resources do not have to be free. Lots of effort goes into some resources offered and they are offered for sale as they should be. Your intellectual property should be paid for if people want it. You want to offer it free, then state that the content is free for all touse as they see fit. |

I agree with this one. No can control the world wide web on copying only you can safeguard yourself with the some preventive scripts available on the net. |
