Ya!! First post. Ok now back on to topic. It may be serialcode.com I am not sure.

I have heard and know many people that use serial.com to get free serial codes for the biggest software is this site legal? If its not how can it stay up so long and not be busted with the name serial.com.

I know this topic doesn't relate to a website but please answer it.

Legal possibly - they way that most sites get around it is by saying it is for educational use or it allows you to try them but you should pay the company if you like it

No I did not say that. I was responding to the question: is this site legal? Using them - you take your own risks.

If you don't know which domain it is why don't you just type it into your browser and check for sure?

Neither of those sites provide serial numbers.

the site is www.serials.to

it has to be illegal but it has an obscure bit at the end .to so it may not have been picked up by the people that want to do anything about it.

There are keys for adobe and microsoft on there so I'm surprised nothing has been done about it but most of the serials are for out of date software like windows 98 and I don't think Bill is too worried about people stealing that.

For the poor shareware developers it is morally wrong to take the serial code for their software and breaks with the spirit of shareware. If you like someone's software enough that you want to continue using it then you should pay them for it.

Some people like making software for the world and this is released as open source, gpl and freeware.

If you visit that site you have to check out the disclaimer at the bottom... it is well thought out but would not stand up in any court of law....

Look I used that site before and it put a ton of spyware on my computer, I'd stay away from it and do a google search for a better one.

I think most warez and serialz sites should be steered clear of.

Have you ever heard the term "no such thing as a free lunch", or "you don't get something for nothing".

Well in the case of warez you generally do get something for nothing... Viruses, trojans, spyware, adware, keyloggers etc.

I think the answer is to get legitimate software and buy it from a proper outlet.

Yes I agree with you, it isn'tc very moral to steal from the software designers, they spend alot of time making those products.

Btw, getting serials for software you don't own is illegal.

Companies like Adobe grant you a license to use their application/s. You have to buy a copy of the software to gain one and to use their software, they make sure you buy it by using serial numbers to activate their software or reactivate trial versions after they expire at the end of the trial period.

If everyone used serials from the web ie. other people who have PAID for the software already then companies like Adobe will eventually go out of business, and guess what?! NO MORE SOFTWARE. So buy, don't steal.

Just because they have a disclaimer means nothing. They are still supplying people with serials which is illegal. Even with saying ig you like it buy it, if you want to try software go to the software makers makers website and see ifthey offer a free/lite version or a trial version of the full thing.
