First off, I apologise if this is in the wrong section - I'm not really sure where this should go (feel free to move it if so - this might not even be HTML at all).

I was wondering if there was a way to create a form/app which, if you put an image URL in, will detect the image dimensions and feed the image URL as well as its dimensions into a specified code (for image insertion on other websites etc)?

It's a different code to the regular img src, and so it's a bit of a pain inserting many images onto a page and having to manually enter the dimensions for each one.

and, if this is possible, is there a way to set up multiple entries on the one page so that it can batch-process images?

Please let me know if this is possible (or in any programming language) or if I need to be clearer. Thanks heaps.
