You can get free hosting. These have a Visual Editor and offer lots of templates you can edit with the editor. Or, you can try learning HTML/CSS, download a good editor and make your own site locally then upload the files. Paid hosting is the better way to go.

You said you used NetObjects Fusion editor. You haven't posted anything about where your site is being hosted. Therefore, answering your FTP question can't be done at the moment without more information.
I can tell you that, if your hosting is free, you usually are NOT allowed use of FTP. |

I don't understand your problem here. I gave you a list of free hosting sites to check out. At least you can use their uploading utility to get your web site online. It's just that 99% of them do not allow FTP with a free account.
I also listed many other links to make web pages, etc..
Is there anything else that I can do that I am missing in your posts here? |

| Yes you need a site making system to save your time. But as you a beginner, at first begin from some html tutorials, and try to make your first simple site yourself |

Once you know how to make a website, you can say that it is not difficult. Start with the basic. You must plan, choose the hosting and domain name, and design and build. seo services.
