Hi my website is and Im having problems with viewing on a site larger than 1024x768 without the background duplicating any sugestions on how to improve it are welcome. Thank you in advanced.

1) Warning: '<' + '/' + letter not allowed here
This is being flagged because the closing tags need to be delimited by adding "\" on each HTML closing tag used. Example:

Not sure about these since there are some missing table tags or tags not closed. Correcting the tags may clear up these being flagged. May be related to these:

3) Warning: <img> attribute name "/" (value="/") is invalid
You have code like this in the image tags: " WIDTH="24" /="/" " . Just remove it up to the quote mark.
4) Warning: content occurs after end of body
This one you can do nothing about unless you get a better hosting provider. Their server is writing code to your pages.
5) Warning: <body> proprietary attribute "topmargin"
Warning: <body> proprietary attribute "leftmargin"
All those attributes inside the body tag should be moved to either an external CSS file or to the style tags placed between the head tags using the correct CSS properties. The link tags should be set in CSS, too. You may not know it, but a link has four different states that it can be in. CSS allows you to customize each state. Please refer to the following keywords that each correspond to one specific state:
* link - this is a link that has not been used, nor is a mouse pointer hovering over it
* visited - this is a link that has been used before, but has no mouse on it
* hover - this is a link currently has a mouse pointer hovering over it/on it
* active - this is a link that is in the process of being clicked
They should be in this order:

Just use a regular break tag with no "soft" in it.

Need to use: <style type="text/css"> ... </style>. There is one from Google which has the style tags in the table tags. Not allowed.

"height" is not an attribute of the table tag. Move to CSS.

All these just require this be added to them: type="text/javascript

The value used in the attribute is a proprietary one from Netscape or Internet Explorer. Just move to CSS for images needing it and use: vertical-align: bottom;

Just means these tags are present with nothing in between them. Not allowed.
Your pages do not have a proper HTML 4.01 document type. Puts browsers into Quirks Mode.
I think if you attack the ones you recognize, it will help immensely.
Which image are you having repeat as I see the "background" image home2.jpg put in with a regular image tag and not as a background image using CSS. Just what is repeating on a large size browser window? I also do not see any page size set for the page.

| i used yahoo sitebuilder to create the site I do not know html..... i guess i am a lost cause with that huh...but thank you for your help...how do you create css out of the html?? Im lost!!! |
