How to use gadgtes on my website

Dear Ron,

I have a site on Webs.com and wonder how to add gadgets, e.g. http://www.google.com/ig/modules/datetime.xml , to it.

Your instructions would be appreciated.

Well, I can't tell much from the XML code about the widget code. Do you have a link to the widget itself?

As for inserting it into your webs.com site, log into your account, click the "Edit My Site" link to get to the File Manager. In list of files, click the Edit Icon next to the file you want to edit. Once editor is open, it has to be in Code View so you can copy/paste the widget code onto the page where you want it to appear.

If you are using the Visual Editor, you might want to edit locally and upload/overwrite whole page. I've found it is better to convert to the HTML Editor, to keep all files on my hard drive just as they are on webs.com and edit locally with a good web editor. That way you can check the function of the whole site before uploading edited files. Plus, you have backup copies.
