Hi,

I have a new client whose site was created using the shtml extention, which i have never used before.

In my little bit of researching it it seems to function exactly like php. Or am I missing something?

Is there an advantage for creating a site in one over the other?

Thanks!

Beka

shtml files are processed by the browser the same as normal html, php files are processed by the php engine on the server therefore the browser renders them faster.
