| Lots of people on Yahoo!Answers seem to recommend that one among a few others. |

| The hosting is good, but they're a bit too big for my liking. I like small hosting companies, the support has more time for you. Theirs have none. |

Just be careful on free webhost, i have read about this 000webhost and they said that doesnt even display it own ads on your site.
This makes me suspicious, where's the catch? This makes it so weird. There is actually no such thing as free, you should pay a free service for a fee in one way or the other.
This makes me think that they are still on the process of getting customers, and they will launch the "catch" later on.
They should be needing payments in any forms, even though they said that they are being sponsored. It should not be totally free --- it may sounds too negative but it's true.

| I heard that their affiliate program is scam because the referrers never received any money as stated by the host provider. |

I was trying to bring down license fee for a customer who needed SQL Server on Windows Server.
realised that MS has released a fix to install the SQL Server 2005 on a Windows 2008 Web Edition.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950636/en-us
The license fee for the web edition is lower than the standard version.

That's the same that I wass thinking before, where is the catch...
Now I'm using them for 8 month's and I must say it's real a reliable host. There was in this 8 months a down time for 3 minutes. (I'm monitoring this site every 5 seconds) Also verry fast respond when you need some help.
I think they're doing it for free to have much backlinks to they're main site. If you see the main site has a PageRank of 7, so that's verry good. If you're ranking so good in google with such competitive keywords, you can easely earn you're money.
And drink even a extra coke
At the moment I have switched to payd hosting with them. The reason therefore is that I think when a product is great, you have to pay for it, that's only fair.
If everyone follows this road, you know why they can offer it for free!
Cheers,
deef
And good luck with you're search to a free hosting compagny. |
